Christmas!

Dear friends,

Well, it's that time of year again - I'm back here in Totton for the period. Got the eurostar back on the 21st...been catching up with people since, and had my birthday yesterday. I've been swimming a couple of times too - it's really nice at our local pool actually.

Nothing much has changed around here...I'm staying at my Dad's...thankfully convinced him to turn on the heating more often. I'm going to have Christmas dinner with my Mum, Nan and Grandad tomorrow - we have roast lamb (a departure from the tradition). 

For the rest of my time here I'm going to try and study as much as I can - but that is already proving difficult - I am too distracted, as always....I must try to focus more...

So many things, so little time...

So 2 weeks since I was last on here...

I wish I could find the time to write more. Anyhow, I shan't lament that yet again. So what's new?

I've spent any free time I did have watching a TV show called Prison Break, which Aurelie brought back from home with her on DVD. Unfortunately, I became quickly addicted (as I tend to do) so I felt compelled to watch them all. It has now lead me to say to myself I'll never watch TV again! It's such a waste of time...we'll see...

I've been progressing very slowly with my MA...Aurelie is coming to England for new years...I have loads of reports to write for my students as it's the end of term...we had loads of snow...and SHOCK HORROR I ACTUALLY SAW THE SUN TODAY. It must be the first time in nearly 2 months that we've had some proper sunshine. I think the lack of sun is probably getting to me actually...it's always so grey...

So I went running in the woods, and do some yoga...then ate some pork chops...

Apparently one of my young students has some kind of screaming session when it's time to come to class, which explains her frequent absence from class. I have to speak to the mother tomorrow on the phone...perhaps she's scared of me? Grrrr!!!!
