Jérémy tries new food...

Bonjour,

Last weekend, we went to my parents' where we also saw my brother and my sister. Because I told my mum Jérémy licked an apple and ate a bit of banana, she bought some petits pots for babies. Jérémy will be a great eater! No problem eating with a spoon! I guess it's also because at the moment everything he grabs goes to the mouth, whatever it is :o)

So here are the photos.

The first one is just to see what he'll do with a spoon: (you might be able to see that his bib says "JEREMY", it's a present made by my cousin)

 

This one is the first mouthful (apple, strawberry, peach). Baby had the choice between this one and apple-apricot (which he didn't like, we tried it the next day) and he picked this one.

 

Still clean face! (taking after his Maman, obviously :oP)

 

Well, a bit of food around the mouth, but Maman cleans up, it's ok!

So that's our wonderful boy! Good thing with these things is that it's too much for a baby, so my sister and I got to finish them! Yummy :o)

Well, that's it for now, Ben might post a video of Jérémy eating tomorrow, I would but I am not quite as good as him with computers.

Jérémy tries new tastes...

About a week ago, we went to a park to have lunch. We had strawberries for dessert and Jérémy licked one! I have to say he didn't seem to like it too much though, as he didn't want to lick it the second time Ben gave him one.

 

Then, during the week, he tried an apple. This time, he seemed quite happy with it.

 

Yesterday, Ben gave him a tiny bit of banana, he ate it but didn't like the second bit.

Anyway, that was the eating part :o)

Now Jérémy is using his hands pretty well, to grab his toys, or also to pull Maman's hair! On the next photo, he is even using his feet to hold the turtle. (That turtle is in fact my bday's present!)

 

Jérémy also likes watching television, with his Daddy. Guess what they're watching these days... Poor Maman, it seems like he is into football like his Daddy. Can you see how serious he is?

 

Other than that, he's a healthy happy baby boy. I just wanted to share a few photos and let you know about progress he is making. :o)

Clever boy!

Ben being busy teaching, me being at home in front of the laptop either feeding or cuddling the cutest baby, I am again going to post some photos!

He has discovered his feeties, but still has trouble grabbing them. It's only when he sits that he can get close enough. So, slowly, we get there:

We also love the plane, the photo is a bit dark because of the sun, but I'm pretty sure you can see baby's big smile :o)

Ben still struggles with sleep at times. Having baby whinging at night doesn't help. If he had his own room, we could just close the door, but that's not possible at the moment, so we have to deal with lack of sleep. But we've got a sweet little boy so I guess it's worth it!

Baby news...

Yesterday we went to see the paediatrician: 64.5 cm and 7.640 kilos (61 cm and 7.260 kilos last month). We were careful not to put on too much weight! :o) Also no vaccine this time!
